Deep. Fried. Butter. Yeah, you heard me. Butter.
The creator of Fried Coke, Fried Cookie Dough and Fried PB&J has done it again, and continues to win honors at the State Fair of Texas with another cholesterol laden creation.

Scoops of pure butter the size of golf balls are frozen and covered with dough and dropped into the deep fryer. Bite into a ball and melted butter pours out.
Supposedly, it tastes like a biscuit or croissant stuffed to the gills with butter. Nothing wrong with that.
But there is something wrong with the flavors it comes in – cherry, grape or garlic? Ok, garlic, I’m not mad at.
But why is everyone making such a big deal about it? The Butter Queen herself, Paula Deen, has already been there, done that.

Coca-Cola and deep frying - two great things separately, but together?

Leave it to Texas to take the art of deep frying that one extra step. Vendor Abel Gonzalez, Jr. came up with this artery-clogging concoction for the State Fair of Texas. Gonzales deep-fries Coca-Cola flavored batter, then drizzles Coke fountain syrup on it. The fried Coke is topped with whipped cream, cinnamon sugar and a cherry. Think Coke-flavored Funnel Cake, but not as heavenly.
Deep fried Twinkies and Snickers? Bring it.
Deep fried Coke? Leave it.
Or if you’re feeling adventurous, try it.
